The date 7.18 marks a significant milestone in my journey—it’s my 5th year cancerversary!! 💖🙌🏾..It’s a day filled with a complex mix of emotions: reflection, gratitude, and hope.

Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is an aggressive, fast-growing form of breast cancer that is more likely than other forms of breast cancer to recur within a 5 year period. About 40% of people with stage 1 to 3 TNBC will experience a recurrence after treatment. However, many of those with TNBC will live long, disease-free lives. 🙏🏾💕

As I look ahead, I am filled with gratitude and optimism. This anniversary is not just a marker of survival but a celebration of life itself. My sweet mother is on my mind heavy today as she didn’t overcome her battle with metastatic breast cancer. It’s been six long months without her and she is missed dearly 🥺..

To anyone currently facing this battle, know that you are not alone. There is a community of survivors and supporters who stand with you, ready to offer strength and encouragement.
